Antique architecture print of ornaments titled 'Meta dell' Ornato del Volto eseguito di Stucco in una delle Camere di Vonversazione (..)'. This print orginates from 'Ornamenti Diversi'. by Giocondo Albertolli. This work includes includes several of his stucco ceilings for the Palazzo Reale, Milan and the Villa Casnedi, Milan.
Giocondo Albertolli, (1743-1839), was an architect, sculptor, decorator and painter of Swiss origin who was active at the end of the 18th and early 19th century. Albertolli has worked extensively on the decoration of palaces, churches and public buildings in Italy, where he gave a new impetus to the art of ornamental design.
Condition: Good. General age-related toning and several small worm holes. Please study image carefully.
