Original Antique Print of a Lion and Donkey hunting

Antique print titled 'The Ass and the Lion hunting'. A donkey brays loudly at wolves while hunting with a male lion. This print originates from a series depicting fables by Samuel Howitt. Samuel Howitt was an English painter, illustrator and etcher of animals, hunting, horse-racing and landscape scenes. He worked in both oils and watercolors.

Condition: Fair. Shows wear and soiling. Top left corner restored. Two small pieces on verso, no text. Please study image carefully.
