Antique Religion Print of the Institution of the Eucharist

Antique print titled ‘Histoire Sainte, Nouveau Testament, Institution de L'Eucharistie.’ This plate shows a scene from the New Testament; The Institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper. This print originates from a rare set of plates showing scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament. Mostly from the books of Genesis, Exodus, Judges, Samuel and Kings, but also from Job, Jonah, Tobias, Esther, Judith, Daniel and Ezechial. Published in Paris: Dezobry et E. Magdeleine (Lithographie Becquet freres) circa 1840.

Condition: Good. General age-related toning. Minor wear and soiling. Please study image carefully.
