Antique Religion Print of Jesus before Caiaphas

Antique print titled ‘Histoire Sainte, Nouveau Testament, Jésus est conduit chez Caïphe.’ This plate shows a scene from the New Testament; Jesus before Caiaphas. This print originates from a rare set of plates showing scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament. Mostly from the books of Genesis, Exodus, Judges, Samuel and Kings, but also from Job, Jonah, Tobias, Esther, Judith, Daniel and Ezechial. Published in Paris: Dezobry et E. Magdeleine (Lithographie Becquet freres) circa 1840.

Condition: Good. General age-related toning. Minor wear, staining and soiling. Please study image carefully.
