Antique print titled 'Lekythen'. Colour-printed large lithograph by Ernst Wasmuth depicting Greek lekythos. A lekythos (plural lekythoi) is a type of ancient Greek vessel used for storing oil, especially olive oil. This print originates from 'Griechische Keramik' by A. Genick. Albert Genick, an architect by training, was one of the leading German scholars of Greek vases at the end of the 19th Century. The large chromolithographic plates in his study, are some of the most handsome images of Greek vases ever printed.

Condition: Good. General age-related toning, light soiling. Few tears in the margins, some backed with archival tape. Please study image carefully.
