Antique Print of a Snake Charmer and Musicians

Antique print titled 'Dancing Snake and Musicians'. This print originates from an edition of 'Oriental Memoirs', a work in the form of a series of letters richly illustrated, describing various aspects of nature, people and buildings he observed during his travels in India in the 1760s-1770s. This engraving of the snake-charmer and the musicians was based on a drawing 'taken on the spot by Baron de Montalembert, when aid-du-camp to General Sir John Cradock in India.
