Antique Print of a Cellini Apple

Antique print titled 'Pl. 20 Cellini'. An unusual Victorian variety, primarily a culinary apple but can be eaten fresh. One of the best examples of the aniseed component of apple flavours. This print originates from: 'Nederlandsche Flora en Pomona, beschreven en uitgegeven door het Bestuur der Pomologische Vereeniging te Boskoop. By K.J.W. Ottolander, A. Koster & C. de Vos (editors). Met platen naar de natuur geteekend door A.J. Wendel. Published in Groningen by J.B. Wolters, 1876-1879.
