Antique map titled 'Carte de la Barbarie le la Nigritie (..)'. Beautiful richly engraved map of North and West Africa, based upon the earlier maps of De L'Isle. Richly annotated throughout and with excellent regional detail. Too much detail to describe. The engraving quality reflects the fine work of Elwe, who produced one of the last great decorative atlases.

Condition: Good. General age-related toning. Minor wear and soiling. Please study image carefully.
