Antique print titled '1. Le Serran Psittacin (Serranus Psittacinus), 2. La Diacope Verte (Diacope Viridis)'. Serranus is a genus of fish in the family Serranidae. The blue-and-gold snapper (Lutjanus viridis) is a species of snapper native to the eastern Pacific Ocean along the coast from Mexico to Ecuador and around offshore islands, including Malpelo, Galapagos, Las Tres Marías (Panama) and Revillagigedo islands. This print originates from 'Voyage autour du monde sur la frégate La Venus (..)' by Gide, Paris, 1846.
