Antique print titled 'Le Trachyptere Bogmare (Trachypterus bogmarus)'. This rare plate shows the Trachipterus trachypterus, a ribbonfish of the family Trachipteridae. Originates from 'Voyage en Islande et au Groenland' by M. Paul Gaimard, published in Paris, 1842.

Condition: Good. General age-related toning. Minor wear and soiling. Please study image carefully.
