Antique Bird Print of Finches and Grosbeak

Antique print of various exotic birds. This scares original old antique print / engraving originates from: 'Vogelwereld, Handboek voor liefhebbers van kamer- en parkvogels' (translated: Bird world, guide for those interested in domestic and park birds.) by A. Nuyens. This sought after work was published in 1882 (and again in 1886) by J.B. Wolters in Groningen, The Netherlands and is quite rare nowadays. The work has 48 plates showing 300 birds.

Condition: Good. General age-related toning. Minor wear and soiling. Please study image carefully.
