Antique Bible Print of the Seventh Plague of Egypt

Antique print titled 'Sevende Plaag van Hagel en Vuur (..)'. The seventh plague brought torrential rains, thunder, and hail that killed people, animals, and crops. Despite the fact that Pharoah admitted his sin, once the storm calmed he again refused freedom to the Hebrews.

This print originates from ‘Biblia Sacra, dat is, de H. Schriftuer van het Oude, en het Nieuwe Testament, naer de laetste Roomsche keure der gemeine Latijnsche overzettinge, in nederduitsch vertaeld (...)’ Utrecht, Hermanus Besseling, 1743.
