Antique print titled 'Print-Verbeeldingen der Historien des Ouden en Nieuwen Testaments'. Book title is written on stone tablet in center, on which an angel blows a trumpet, at right a woman representing Judaism and holding there Law, allegorical scenes showing the Vices and David's sacrifice at middle right, Mount Sinai in right background, at left an angel holding the Bible, with allegorical scenes showing Virtues at middle left, the Apostles.
This print originates from ‘Biblia Sacra, dat is, de H. Schriftuer van het Oude, en het Nieuwe Testament, naer de laetste Roomsche keure der gemeine Latijnsche overzettinge, in nederduitsch vertaeld (...)’ Utrecht, Hermanus Besseling, 1743.
